Nordic Design Collective at the London Design Festival

11 Nordic Design Collective designers are selected to join the exhibition in London at the Tent Popup Store (22-25 September). Meet the first six below!

In this first round-up of the participating designers we are focusing on kitchen life and the gems for every home – ceramics and vases! For a bit of extra bling, they are also bringing high end jewellery.

By May is a new brand by Swedish designers Johanna Örn and Maria Bergström, both educated at Konstfack and Swedish School of Textiles.

Their focus is on creating unique and functional home interior products with Scandinavian pattern design in refined colour and material combinations, and one of their top products is the Polygon collection with place mats in silicone and more.

The Scandinavian ÄGGCØDDLER (derived from its less-famous English relative – the egg coddler) is a simple idea – it’s a porcelain cup with a lid in which amazing egg delicacies are born. ÄGGCØDDLERs are great for breakfast, brunch, a snack, or whenever you feel a little peckish and want a treat.

After her studies of ceramics Capellagården School for Craft and Design, Camilla Engdahl worked with clay for years. Somehow, she felt it wasn’t enough and continued to study interior design at HDK in Gothenburg. The two different areas complement each other and makes her work even stronger.
